We are coordinating with the various groups and organizations and hope to compile one master calendar of all events and dates of interest "In the Bay." Please check back soon, it is coming!.

Just a quick reminder that there will be a pot luck at the club house on Saturday, Dec. 17th.  Everyone is welcome.  We will start with happy hour about 5:30 and eat whenever.  You can BYOB or drinks will be available for tips.  Ice and paper goods will be provided.  So don't cook, just come out and join us and have a good time!

Hi Everybody,
 
Hope you all had a great summer.  We did, but it was short.
It is a beautiful day in Cholla, nice and cool and misting a  little rain, very cloudy.  It has been nice all week except last evening we didn't get to go on the sunset cruise for Pat Goodin's birthday because it was too windy.  Of course, today it looks like it will be  great tonight.  It may be getting a little too chill to go again this year.  We are spoiled and like it just right all the time, and mostly it is.
Just a couple of things..........The Cholla Cafe now has  pizza Thrusday through Monday, 5pm to 9pm.  You can order by calling 382 5283.  Stop by the cafe first and pick up a flier so you will know all the various topping available.  We tried it Sat. and liked it a lot.
On Monday, Oct. 31st, there will be a Halloweeny party at the clubhouse.  Everyone is welcome.  Weenies will be furnished but bring a side dish and candy to give out to the kids that come by.  This will start about 5:30. Wear your Halloween costume, if you like.
On Saturday, Nov., 5th the CBSC will have their meeting at the clubhouse at 9:00a.m. and dinner and social time in the evening beginning with happy hour at 5:30.  The theme for this is 4th of July in Nov.  We will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs.  Wear your patriotic outfits.  Note:  The business meeting will be in the morning and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend that as this will be the "real meeting" with the board.  Reports, such as minutes  and treasurer's report will be posted for everyone to review and comment on.  Such things that need membership voting and announcements will be made during the evening at 6:00 p.m.  We are trying this to see how it works as most people want to socialize and not meet in the evening.

I have been having muchos problemas with prodigy all week that we have been here, so I hope I can send this out.  We are leaving today but will return in a couple of weeks, so hold you email to me until then as I don't have a computer in Sun City yet.  I am going to try to send a picture of the sea lion that has been coming into Tucson Beach every night and going out every day.  Ole Alcumbrac, the veterinary believes it to be a rather young male rather than one that has come in here to die.  I surely hope he is right and I hope people don't bother it too much.  It has been quite an attraction and doesn't seem to mind people gathering around it and taking pictures.  However, it wasn't in this morning.
